 Inserts and Doublers

We now carry diaper inserts and doublers!  Both inserts and doublers are available in bamboo or hemp terry.  Hemp is more absorbant but it is also bulkier so the fabric choice really depends on your preference and how you will use it.  Bamboo terry is also quite absorbant and is very trim and is about the softest fabric you can find!!  I recommend bamboo terry inserts for everyday use and bamboo terry doublers when they are used right next to the skin.  Use hemp inserts or doublers when you want that extra level of absorbancy such as naptime or long car rides.

 Lanolin

What keeps your wool cover waterproof?  Its the lanolin!  Lanolin is a substance that is naturally found in wool but with use it wears away so you must replenish it periodically.  A small dab of lanolin dissolved into a sinkful of water is enough to lanolize several wool items!
